That Time of Year Again...

Hello Teens!

Yes, it is that time of year again: Valentine's Day, or as some like to call it: Single's Awareness Day. Whichever you celebrate, chocolate is definitely always appreciated. Hopefully, the appreciation will extend to the dual nature of our February Display at the Brandon Public Library:

Definitely snazzy. Our "What's The Title?" guessing game has now been updated for February! Try to guess the title of the shredded novel in the jar to earn a prize at the end of the month! Last month's novel title was [🥁]: The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Steven Chbosky! Congrats to the winners and good luck for this month's round!

Reminders:
  • This month's Video Game Day will feature a MarioKart 8 Tournament on our Wii U! Join us Saturday, February 15 from 12:00pm - 3:00pm.
  • The Brandon Public Library will be closed for President's Day Monday, February 17.
See you soon!

Dashing Through the...Snow?

Hello Teens!

The holidays are here! Just to remind everyone, we will be closed for the days of December 24th and 25th, while closing at 3:00pm on the 23rd and the 31st. We will also be closed January 1st of the new year. Have fun and be safe, no matter what or how you celebrate!

Speaking of safety, the time is growing near for several of you to experience that exciting, yet tedious milestone of driver's testing. Have no fear; the library is here! Through our website, you have access not only to a FREE copy of the MS Driver's Handbook, but also several practice tests and study aids! For those of you who have already passed the test, we also have some other vehicular resources you might need, including Auto Repair Source and VIN Decoder. Just go to https://cmrls.lib.ms.us/, then find the Digital Library tab, then click Virtual Reference Collection. All three links are near the center of the page. Don't hesitate to ask a librarian for help if you need it!

Happy holidays and good luck to you all!
