Winter is finally here! It has brought some interesting happenings at Brandon along with it. For the months of December and January, the bookshelves in the Young Adult section will be sporting some wacky winter hats. Your mission (should you choose to accept it) is to vote on your favorite of the bunch. The winning hat will be worn by Ms. Beth (yes, me...I will probably look like Eeyore) at the January Family Night...actually the entire day...all day. So, vote wisely!
This coming Monday night (November 25) at 5:00 pm, we will be hosting our teen version of Graham Cracker House Wars! Be ready to build an amazing cracker cottage with delectable decorations. Bring your decorating skills and an old shirt, because this will get messy! Villages will be consumed immediately following the judging.
Reminders:
- We will be closing @ noon Wednesday, November 27 and will be closed the remainder of that week.
- Don't forget to find your ducks in the duck hunt at the library! Drawing for the $100 gift card will be @ the Christmas Puppet Show and Doughnut Wreath program December 7 @ 1:00 pm.
