That time of year has arrived again: February. Again, things look a bit different than in the past. Also, if you drop by the Brandon Public Library, we have our previously mentioned Take-Home kits for you! This previous week had the theme of Alice in Wonderland, so there were several activities and crafts for you to do.

For those of you who received the kit and did the activities, here are the answers to the crossword, word searches, and word scramble:

This next week's kit is about the Superbowl! There will be some interesting sports activities and crafts, so don't miss out on grabbing your kit while supplies last!

Now, about our upcoming holiday hours: the library will be closing Monday, February 15 for Presidents' Day. We will reopen Tuesday, February 16 at our regular hours.

It's finally winter weather! And, naturally, with that weather comes even more holidays. Like most things in 2020, these holidays are probably going to look different than usual. But remember: we at the library are here for you! This next week's kit is about Apps in honor of National App Day (December 11)! There will be some interesting tech activities and crafts, so don't miss out on grabbing your kit while supplies last!

Now, about our upcoming holiday hours: the library will be closing Wednesday, December 23 at 1:00pm for the holiday. We will reopen Monday, December 28 at our regular hours. 

We will also be closed Thursday, December 31 and Friday, January 1. We will open Monday, January 4 at our regular hours.

Dashing Through the...Snow?

Hello Teens!

The holidays are here! Just to remind everyone, we will be closed for the days of December 24th and 25th, while closing at 3:00pm on the 23rd and the 31st. We will also be closed January 1st of the new year. Have fun and be safe, no matter what or how you celebrate!

Speaking of safety, the time is growing near for several of you to experience that exciting, yet tedious milestone of driver's testing. Have no fear; the library is here! Through our website, you have access not only to a FREE copy of the MS Driver's Handbook, but also several practice tests and study aids! For those of you who have already passed the test, we also have some other vehicular resources you might need, including Auto Repair Source and VIN Decoder. Just go to https://cmrls.lib.ms.us/, then find the Digital Library tab, then click Virtual Reference Collection. All three links are near the center of the page. Don't hesitate to ask a librarian for help if you need it!
